POTTSTOWN NAACP
Make a Difference Today!
Pottstown NAACP wants to spread our message of hope and compassion. We believe that a single action can make a difference in the community, and that collective action can greatly impact the world. Through advocacy and outreach activities, our team works tirelessly each day to contribute their part to the greater good.
POTTSTOWN NAACP AT A GLANCE
A Distinct Identity
In the past year, despite the pandemic, Pottstown NAACP volunteers have been hard at work, marching for Black Lives Matter in Pottstown, Schwenksville and Royersford; sponsoring vaccination clinics at the middle school, Ricketts Center and The carousel; helping the homeless; working with local and state police to promote fair and just policing; supporting Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in an anti-hate rally in Royersford; registering voters; delivering food; supporting the arts; working for fair funding for public schools; investigating complaints of racist harassment; helping kids have fun at Halloween … The list is long. We have made a difference.
"The Pottstown NAACP touches lives every day in many ways. We are committed to making Pottstown a better place for ALL people to live and thrive. We are committed to social justice, fair voting, proper funding for education - and fighting for human rights at every turn."
